Bhopal: Schools prepping for return to classroom

Schools of the city are preparing to reopen the schools with 50% of the staff and students can come to the school to clear their doubts if their parents allow them. To ensure safety of the teachers and students, schools will follow all safety measures and SOP given by the school education department on Friday.

BHOPAL: Schools of the city are preparing to reopen the schools with 50% of the staff and students can come to the school to clear their doubts if their parents allow them. To ensure safety of the teachers and students, schools will follow all safety measures and SOP given by the school education department on Friday.
Rajesh Sharma, principal, Bal Bhavan School and president of the Association of Unaided Private Schools, said, “All the schools were being sanitized regularly even during the lockdown.

Now, to ensure the safety of the students, we will take all the precautions suggested by the school education department. Schools are installing systems for temperature checks before allowing students and teachers to enter the premises. All the classrooms will be sanitized regularly and group activities like morning assembly, sports etc will be on hold for the time being.”
He added that once students of classes 9-12 start coming to school more frequently, schools may think about starting the school vehicles for them, but as a precaution, for now, all students have been asked to come to the school in private vehicles.
